I ran across this recipe yesterday, I have not made it yet....I have some shopping to do but it sounds and looks so good that I will try this.

Triple Chocolate Truffle Bars
Bar:
3/4 Cup dark Chocolate chips
1/2 Cup butter cut into chunks
2/3 Cup sugar
2 eggs
2/3 Cup flour
Glaze:
3/4 Cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 Cup whipping cream
1 ounce white chocolate, melted
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line an 8 inch baking pan with foil or parchment paper, extending over edges of pan.  Grease paper or foil.

Place 1/2 cup dark chips and butter in medium microwave safe bowl.  Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir every 30 seconds or until chips are melted, about 1 to 2 minutes.  Stir until smooth.

Combine sugar and eggs in a medium bowl.  Beat until thick and smooth.  Add melted chocolate mixture; continue beating until smooth.  Stir in flour and remaining 1/4 cup of dark chips just until mixed.

Spread batter into pan.  Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until edges are set and center appears soft. Do not overbake Cool completely

Meanwhile place semi sweet chips in a small bowl.  Place cream in a sauce pan and heat until it almost comes to a boil.  Pour over chips; let stand 1 minute.  Stir until smooth.
Allow to cool for a bit.
Spread glaze over cooled bars.

Place 6 small portions of the melted white chocolate randomly over glaze.  Pull a knife through white chocolate to create a design.
Cover and refrigerate.
To serve lift bars out of pan using overhanging paper or foil.  Cut into bars with a sharp knife, wipe knife if necessary.

Now the funny part...according to the recipe I have this makes...64 bars  (8 inch pan 64 bars? I think not)

If you really want to look..

if you cut in 1" squares you would have 64 pieces

with that high of counts------------you probably should cut it that way and restrict yourself----------lol

I just downloaded that from "their" site.  Looks really good!  No time right now to try it; but I think that will be the very next thing out of my oven when I do have time to bake.

Difficult to eat just one piece of anything so I guess it is best to cut into 1 inch squares.

Wowzer Nikki--these sound really good!
I'll bring the coffee if you do the baking.  If I leave now, I might make it there in a few days.  LOL

Copied and going into my "must try" folder.  Thanks for sharing.

Prefer Chai Tea but I have found that that instant flavored cappuccino coffee does not have the same effect that real coffee does.
Let me know when you start out and they will be ready for us. (I will shake the pan so the calories fall off when I cut the pieces)

Nikki, it would be too hard to cut 1 inch squares and get them out neatly, so I think I'll make mine bigger.  After all, each 1 inch square is "only"  60 calories.

My thought exactly.
Who wants to eat "raggedy" brownies?  Go for neatness. Wink

This sounds too good!  Thanks for sharing the recipe Nikki.  Will have to try then when it's not so darn hot.  Not sure I ever cut anything into 1 inch square pieces, except maybe fudge lol.

maybe too much trouble for you to do            but remember nikki's rule     the calories don't count in the broken pieces            ha ha

also if you line with parchment paper          you can take it out of the pan  and cut it on a cutting board with a better knife

so judy     no more 'scuses
