I hope someone reads this and make some updates.  Or perhaps i will be baned.

Does it really matter what points are for?
Do other sites give you points for visiting?
I find the forums pretty easy to follow, the questions easy to answer and it is easy to post a question or a suggestion.
I enjoy the site for the recipes, conversation and encouragement that I get from my friends here.
Sure every once in a while there may be a problem but what site does not have their share of "glitches" or in the case of VBB "gooey in the middle" times.

Enjoy the members, the recipes and conversation.

Airing your opinion will not get you banned but if you feel strongly it is your prerogative to cut off contact and enjoy other sites.  We just might miss some interesting thoughts, ideas and recipes from you but maybe not..

Sorry to hear that Andy, but Nikki is right.  Every site I have ever been to has it's share of problems.  I've been here a long time and this has to be the nicest, most helpful and  friendliest bunch of people I have ever known online.

Good thing we live in the USA where everybody is entitled to their opinion.

This was the very first site that I joined and it is by far my favorite. The people here are very nice and helpful.I was checking out another site and saw a lot of bickering amongst the members and have not contributed there.I'm sorry you feel like this but I really don't think you've given us a chance. You have only posted 10 times.

i think i know the one--------------- a few yrs ago i was on one that really turned me off to all---mostly due to one person who was actually kicked off the site---------------because it didn't matter what anyone posted------she always had a different view and was very vocal in her attacks  about it (she was very young, still in high school)

i already had a lot of negatives in my life (family)       and couldn't deal with    some of the people also very vocal about religion   and i respect all peoples choice        but shouldn't be exposed to them on a cooking site

sorry andy,
i overlooked your question about         'brownie points'
this site changed over 3 yrs ago  and ever since then they have been trying to 'figure this out'
they have not been  'really responsive' to suggestions made by members in other posts

look under            ASK VERY BEST BAKING          and read thru some of the discussions on this topic

I, too, think this is a great site.  I've met so many really nice people who have taught this "old gal" many things and have shared some pretty great recipes.

Andy, maybe you need to give it a little more time.

I think you are right Nellie.Forums must be kept in the Neutral Zone.I think we do a pretty good job of that here and that's why this site is a great place to be.I joined just as the change occurred so I guess that's another reason I like it, nothing to compare it to lol! Change is hard for most people.
