I found a recipe here that sounds good (Pumpkin Chocolate Brownies), but it calls for brown sugar blend (such as Splenda). Do you have to use the sugar substitute or can you use the real thing?

I have used white sugar Splenda (not the brown sugar), and the recipes all say the measurement is identical to regular sugar. So I think you should be able to use regular brown sugar, instead of the blended. Here's a Splenda FAQ site. http://www.splenda.com/faq/cooking-baking
