I am making my own modeling chocolate for a cake next weekend the 20th.  I've never used it before, but I am making a little game controller and small computer with it.  If I were to make it a few days ahead, would it keep?  Where do it keep it?  The fridge- will it crack?  Room temp- will it stay how it should?  or is it almost necessary to make it the day of or before?

Welcome Katrina.  That's all I'll say because I have absolutely no experience with modeling chocolate.  With all the great cooks and bakers on this site, I'm sure you'll get responses.
