Like Verlee, I'm not very happy with the spray cans of shortening .... especially the spray shortening and flour.When a recipe calls for shortening I use butter and my own flour .... making a mess. LOL - But when I'm baking, I expect mess.
Thanks for the tip!! I have used the butter wrappers to coat my pans but I have never thought about saving them! I can see my husband's face now when he pulls a baggie out of the fridge with butter wrappers inside!
nancy are you using non-stick pans or the metal ones?i would probably buy the liners if i really liked them but that's not a recipe i think i would try
