Thank you.
Renee I can't tell you how many times I have to figure out how much more or how much less to add when making more or less of something.
This has now been copied and taped to the back cover of my favorite cookbook. (would have taped it to the inside cover but it is filled with notes!)

thanks, renee
I couldn't high-light this, but when I clicked on text it went to a different  larger page that I was able to print using print function on my computer
I can't read that small type
but like everything else on here    everyone's  format may not show up the same

That is a very handy chart, Renee.  Now, if someone with a little more computer savvy would just tell me where I would find "text", as mentioned by Nellie, I would be so happy!!  Thanks!

I'll have to calculate the larger amounts - pints, quarts, gallons. Or, has someone already done it?

If you want text instead of the picture , then here:

Making Half a Recipe:
When a recipe calls                             Use:
for:

1/4 cup                                                   2 tablespoons

1/3 cup                                                   2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons

1/2 cup                                                   1/4 cup (4 Tbsp)

2/3 cup                                                   1/3 cup (5 Tbsp and 1 tsp)

3/4 cup                                                    6 Tbsp

1 Tbsp                                                     1 1/2 tsp

1 tsp                                                         1/2 tsp

1/2 tsp                                                      1/4 tsp

Making One-third of a recipe:

1/4 cup                                                     1 Tbsp + 1 tsp

1/3 cup                                                     1 Tbsp + 2 1/3 tsp

1/2 cup                                                     2 Tbsp + 2 tsp

And, there you go!

Thank you, Mikki G----The chart came out perfect!  One of these days, I hope to really know what I am doing on this PC.  It's tough when you start to learn the basics at my age.  Next time my 6 year old Grandson is here, I'll ask him for some lessons!! LOL  Thanks again!!

You're welcome.I just started with this thing a couple of years now.One day I left the computer for just a few seconds and laid something on the key board and when I returned the screen was displayed upside down.I had to have the kids help me out of that one! You really can't do too many things wrong or that can't be corrected just play with it and you'll figure things out.

GRANA here;
Thanks  Renee C;Kiss

(usually have it( your chart's info) in my  own personal memory ; but printing it out (bigger FONT) &  saving it in my PC&  fave recipe  book is so much more reliable;......as I/we age our memories can get  a bit scrambled; just in case, I've got it  "ssafely saved"; away in my PC &  basic recipe book;If I can remember where I put this
Undecided
