Sorry, I am new at this. What would happen if I added 8oz of melted Philidelia cream cheese to the Libby's pumpkin pie recipe on the back of the can ? Should the pie be baked longer ?

Are you replacing the milk called for in the recipe with the cheese?  If so I would guess the bake time will be about the same.  But keep an eye on it test at the end of the shortest time given.  Put the point of a knife in the pie half way between the edge and the center, it should come out clean.  Jiggle the pie, it should jiggle a little in the middle (Like we all do this time of year).
If you are keeping the milk and adding the cheese the bake time may be longer due to the extra liquid. Test in the same way though.
