Go to recipes (top of page), do the search for the cookies, at the bottom right there is a conversion chart to click on (if you 1/2 the recipe on the page, you should get about 30 cookies) Hope this helps

Half recipes can be tricky.  Hope you find the one you need.  You can try cutting the ingredients to half amounts and see if that works.

Paula - Welcome to VBB.  We're glad to have you.
If you have the giant bag of chips you could go ahead and make the large batch of cookies.  Store them in a freezer zipper bag and get all the air possible out you'll have cookies in the future.  That's a great treat.

I would make a large batch and freeze the extra dough.  If you are going to dirty one bowl make it worth while.
Freeze the extra in either small zip top bags or roll into a log so you can cut it later.  Or freeze scoops of the dough.  Once solid place the balls in a zip top bag.  When you want just a few cookies take out what you need and just bake those.  Great if you want just 3 or 4 cookies.

I'm with Nikki - make the recipe and freeze half - I've done this, works really well!

I agree with Nikki. Make the full recipe and either freeze the dough or freeze the extra cookies. Actually, my husband likes them right out of the freezer.

GRANA  here;
 withjjust the 2 of us at home;I often make a cookie recipe; bake 1/2 dozen & freeze the rest in cookie size balls for baking later on.
*****TIP:*****
Be sure to bake the frozen cookie dough w/in 2 months;just like purchased RTB cookie dough [ wihich you have frozen]!
Thaw  in fridge, before baking,   or add  2 minutes to bake time of original recipe!: watch carefully for signs of  beingdone( edges golden brown, etc)
