If you want "guilty frying" there is a hot dog place in Chicago that fries the french fries in duck fat! Don't think they do it all the time of to all the fries but just the same they have to taste awesome.  After all isn't that what made McDonald's fries taste so darned good..they were fried in beef fat.
A life lesson:
FAT = FLAVOR

The Amish do not have recipes that are figure friendly.  Perhaps that is why they are so lucious!

LOL LOL ...... And that little jar of bacon grease is a treasure, right?
Now I "fry" so much bacon in the microwave so I get no grease .... The bit I get when using the skillet is twice as precious.
Which reminds me - I haven't yet tried frying bacon in the Forman/Foreman sp? unit.  I gotta' do that.

Well all this Whoopie Pie talk got me I took out a Chocolate Mint Whoopie Pie from the freezer. Thawing now will "indulge" tomorrow.

The Stuffed Jalapeno sounds very good.  I don't have a grill now so they will have to be done in the oven but I think they will tun out great.

Nancy,  I will be good the the kitties. They have so much fun!! They really relax like we do!!
We always have a good time and hope to get some walking in. Suki sits in the double chair
with me!! She is trained to sit in the chair and not get down!! I always watch her because you
never know what noise will scare her!!

Nikki,  I haven't done stuffed jalapenos in the oven, but I'm sure they will turn out great!!
If anyone can do it you can.  You are a very talented lady!! Hope you are getting enough
rest after moving!!
