I think what I like best is an everything bagel with Tofutti Better than Cream Cheese.  I am lactose intolerant and cannot have any milk products.  Since I have not had real cream cheese in many many years, it tastes just like cream cheese to me.  Healthier, too.

I am not a breakfast person, but I do have to have a morning cup of tea or two. Now & then I will have dry toast or a bagel with cream cheese or plain toasted English muffin & on rare occasions, a bowl of instant oatmeal or a toaster breakfast scrambler. We have a breakfast dinner about every 3 or 4 weeks & I will have an omelet pr scrambled eggs with onion & bell pepper, toast & O J, I make hubby eggs, parsley potatoes, sausage, toast, O J & often French toast (he will have planned over french toast for next 2 days with syrup. I do the French toast while the potatoes are cooking.

My husband makes the best buttermilk waffles and pancakes.  He makes one or the other on a weekend morning.  They are so light they almost float.( he folds the beaten egg whites into the batter)   YUM!!!!

I would like to have an everything bagel with butter or french toast or a homemade waffle. With bacon. But in the real world where little 5 ft. tall me gains weight very easily, I have honeynut Cheerios with blueberries or banana. Just about every morning. Or an diet friendly version of an omelet.

My simple breakfast is a bowl of cereal that has pecans in it.  I had another half handful just for the love of pecans.  My husband, on the other hand, adds two types of cereal, one being the pecan cereal to a large bowl and dabs vanilla yogurt on top, mixes it up and loves it!!  I haven't mastered the taste and texture of yogurt though I know it is good for you.

I learned something new - for me - at breakfast this morning.  A dear friend is diabetic and the restaurant always gives her jars of sugar-free jams while the rest of us get the tiny plastic containers of a variety of jelly.   I am not of fan of anything sugar free but this morning my friend insisted I try some sugar free on my toast.  Very reluctantly with a bad attitude I tried.  It's DELICIOUS!!!  Smucker's Peach Preserves are wonderful .... I likedit so much I'm buying some on my next trip to the grocery.

(This morning I took her a big batch of sugar-free - well, almost sugar-free - chocolate chip with pecans cookies.  I don't like them)

I love the sugar free jams and jellies that Smuckers  makes. When I make my nut torte I sneak it in between the two layers and none of them can tell the difference. You can really taste the fruit instead of all the sugar.I make jelly for the family and I eat so little  jelly I buy my SF.It is expensive to make SF jams and jellies.

I always use the sugar free jams or sometimes I will just spread low fat yogurt on my bagel, English muffin or wheat toast.

I wish other people would tell me about GOOD sugar free things. ..... Sugar free things with fewer calories.
I have learned that some sugar free items have even more calories!
Once I picked up a bag of Weight Watchers sugar free butterscotch candy, read that calorie content and nearly passed out

Favorite breakfast...depends on if I am going to be "good" or not.
I love waffles.  Much tastier than pancakes.  But the waffles I like are the nice thick ones.
I have a thing for Cinnamon Rolls or Sticky Buns.  Have to have lots of gooey stuff and pecans.  The icing should be a cream cheese based frosting.
French toast is good if I can't have the waffles or the rolls.
For a fast breakfast toast with peanut butter or Nutella
If I am going to be good..
Oatmeal but it has to be steel cut or pin head.  No instant!
On top of the oatmeal a bit of butter and brown sugar, that's for the not so "good" days.  If I am going to be real good then just some raisins or cranberries added to the cooking water so they plump up add sweetness.  A light sprinkle of brown sugar.

Hi Nancy,Whenever a manufacturer, takes something out they put something in, sugar free = fat ,low fat = sodium for the most part this is true check it out the next time you go grocery shopping.I've become an expert ,well not really an expert, but I do read the labels on everything.Just because something says sugar fee doesn't mean it is,it could have other types of sugar in it like dextrose for example.

All those breakfast ideas, wow!  I love bacon but have to limit myself due to the high cholesterol,  ditto on the eggs.  But my very favorite has always been french toast.  Sometimes I would order that for lunch too lol.  However, most days I just stick with oatmeal with lots of cinnamon and raisins or a bowl of Cheerios.

Nancy:  We use Polaner All Fruit with fiber.  It has no sugar.  Is sweetened by the juice from the fruit.  Delicious.  We've used it for years.  Has many different flavors:  blueberry, cherry, peach, strawberry, and more.

My favorite breakfast when camping is the works bagel from Costco.
Toast it, put a layer of Phil. cream cheese, thin layer of red onion that
is sliced real thin, slices of tomato on top of the onion {tomatoes from
garden in summer and cluster tomatoes in the winter} final layer is
slices of avocado. Sprinkle black pepper and Lawrys garlic salt with
parlsey over the top and eat. This is a half of bagel, do the other half
the same way if you think you can eat both. Hubby can eat both!!!!
