I think what I like best is an everything bagel with Tofutti Better than Cream Cheese.  I am lactose intolerant and cannot have any milk products.  Since I have not had real cream cheese in

Yesterday I was shopping at the great grocery in the neighboring town and forgot to look for sugar-free jelly.   I've looked at my local WalMart but they had only sugar free grape ..... I want peach!

I love breakfast.  Especially when I go out and have it cooked FOR me!   LOL ! Omelets, or eggs and bacon and panckaes or toast.
I love it all.  Too bad I am not supposed to eat it.  But that makes it taste all the better when I do go out.

Oh, if I go out for breakfast I have to get one of those "killer" Apple Pancakes.  You know the type.  They have enough calories for sustain a small village for a week.  Filled with sugar, cinnamon and butter and apples then the batter is poured into the pan and it is baked.  It comes to the table and you say...Oh, I can't eat all this..and then you do!! (Because secretly you are thinking if anyone suggests that you split it you will stab their wrist with your fork)

John, I could go for almost everything except the poached egg, unless the white is real firm.  Can't stand some of the poached eggs that have had the misfortune to cross my plate, runny whites just give me the "heebee jeebees".  For some reason I can not drink milk and orange juice in the same meal.  Now the homemade fig jam sounds wonderful, I love it on toast made from cranberry walnut bread.

How is the back doing?

My favorite breakfasts include:
 1. Plain fat-free Greek yogurt topped with fresh fruit and granola/or dry cereal.
 2. A bowl of regular non-flavored oatmeal made with 1/2 water-1/2 unsweetened original almond milk and topped with fresh fruit.
 3. A veggie egg-white omelette with low fat mozarella cheese, and a side of fresh fruit.

which, of course,  I haven't opened yet.  I won't until the other stuff is all gone.

Depends on the day....during the week I like cereal.  On the weekends however, we have breakfast together and it's usually bacon and eggs, waffles and sausage, or oatmeal!!

Here is a very tasty way to use some of the jelly or jam you have.
Make a pan of brownies.  Heat about 1 Cup of the jelly or jam in a small saucepan or in a microwave safe bowl.  Heat it until it has melted.  Spread over the brownies while they are still warm.  Allow to cool.  If you want to top that with a bit of melted chocolate that works as well.  This is great if the jelly or jam is raspberry, cherry, apricot something along those lines, not a fan of grape jelly so I have not tried that.

A teaspoon or a half teaspoon of jelly or jam dropped on the top of a cookie tastes very good as well.

Jelly or jam heated up and brushed on cake layers before frosting will keep the cake moist and give a little more flavor as well.
