In Response to Re: WHAT'S FOR DINNER TONIGHT? : My Mom used to make a spread like this.  Cream Cheese, a jar of the green olives with the pimentos she would chop up the olives and chop up some walnuts.  Mix that in with the cream cheese.  If she need to make it a bit loser so it would spread she would add a bit of the juice from the jar of olives.  That would go on bread or toast for a sandwich.  Also good on crackers.  I was not fond of that sandwich.  Never liked green olives that much, a bit salty for me.

Nikki...

Wow...I like the idea of walnuts!!  Thanks!

I don't know why, but I think the cream cheese cuts down on the saltyness of the olives.  But I never add the olive juice to my mixture though!  But I am a cream cheese lover!!

Spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian bread & tossed salad. Strawberries were on sale this past week, I bought 3# & sliced & froze them, but left some out so hubby could put on pound cake & top off with whipped topping(I ate a few while slicing them Sealed).

Tonight I am fixing a recipe that my daughter brought home from school.  You put a pound of hot sausage(cooked) and cubed baking potatoes in a large baking dish and cover it with a packet of taco seasoning and one cup of water.  You put it in the oven at 350 degrees and bake until potatoes are golden brown, then top  with some sharp cheddar cheese.  It is really pretty good.

You wouldn't believe it. A banquet pot pie and I'm happy with it. They were on sale and I didn't have anything special to do.

Reheated some of the Mushroom Beef Barley soup I made yesterday.  Tastes much better the next day.
Would love to have it tomorrow but have a physical scheduled for Friday and the blood work will be done on Wednesday so going to cut out the beef until Wednesday.

Fingers crossed for the blood work!
