I made vegetable beef stew.  I have two wrestlers in my house who are watching carbs so I substituted whole grain barley for potatoes.  It was pretty tastey.

I have to be at church by 4:30 -- helping friend arrange nursery and won't be home before 8:15 - 8:30.   Dinner just won't happen.
I sure hope the other stuff does.  If the storm hits I'll be at home :-(

Wed:
There's a big pot of Chilli on the stove but I have to go to work for a 3p-11p shift so there's no time to make the bread.  Well, at least there will be something available.

Peg:
I'm always looking for ways to cut carbs, especially simple sugars.  It has been a whole new lifestyle for me but I feel a lot better without the sugars and starches.

At daughter's babysitting the dogs, Daisey and Paris so will just open a can of soup and maybe some crackers or cottage cheese. Snow still on ground and there are there are two hills to go up and not sure about them with my car. Been a while since I drove in snow. Many years ago for sure. Waiting to do the cheese cake near Christmas.

How interesting...but no, I never made them but I watched my Mom make them.  All I know is that they sure are good!  Now my Mom made homemade perogies that were, oh my, just so yummy!  My Mom loved to cook and bake and I followed in her footsteps.  Now, I am Pennsylvania Dutch but I sure love some these dishes!
