Since we went out for our "Jigg's Dinner", no leftovers.....so, tonight we will be having baked "City Chicken", some kind of potato and some kind of veggie(s), and fresh-baked bread!  Maybe between now and then I will think of a dessert.  Dinner is not complete without dessert!

 Gale, if you ever have leftovers give me a holler! I love corned beef! I usually make mine in the crock and save the juice and make more carrots and potatoes the next day.

No cooking for me tonight.  My neighbor Carol wants to treat another couple and hubby and I to dinner but she has animals at home that cause allergy problems.  Sooo, she's cooking it at home and bringing it across the street to our house where the five of us will enjoy a belated St. Patty's day dinner.

 Had meatless tacos. Just cheese and mixed lettuce. If I don't have meat at dinner I get cravings for it. Trying to be good and better the diet but this just makes want more of a dinner. :)

Frown.The newest  ones shrank in the wash &  I couuldn't get them on before the cookies burned.Cry
NOON;
 me: hubby made  me lunch forced me to  eat , he said the  small cup of yogurt@ breakfast was not enough fora grown woman to  get  through the day so I picked &   chose through fruits&  bread/pastries and got enough to satisfy  both of us:
chicken broth 1/2 whole grain bagel w/ hommus
 a red delicious apple
 a sweet juicy fresh orange

We both had almond cookies; even burned they were  possiby the best  part of the meal, though I  nearly enjoyed my mealWink

Tonight I got creative with leftovers lol.  Mixed cubed ham with 1/2 cup of white rice, 1/2 cup canned corn, some cubed mango and diced pineapple, added just a dash of soy sauce, and heated in the microwave.  Turned out pretty well so I might just make this again when I have more ham.

 Tonight I had a craving for a really GOOD pizza! Since I eat dinner when most other people are in bed I had no idea of how to squash that craving. Then it hit me! I put some garlic cheese between a couple of wheat tortillas and opened a can of marinara sauce and threw in some Italian herb mix. Heat it all up and pizza! The sauce was good when I dipped in my tortilla. I'm a "dipper" person. I like to dip my food in things. Like meat dipped into gravy for example or chips into salsa.
