It's great to be relaxing (as much as possilbe on election day) at home. I stopped by the little store that sells such great fried chicken and bought some breasts. I made myself mashed potatoes, corn and a great salad. An easy dinner that was great.

We're having oven baked chicken with rice. This is a recipe that I've changed a bit, but have been making it since I was first married (we celebrated 38 years this past summer). This is one of my husband's favorite "comfort foods".

after the dr yesterday we stopped at the olive garden for lunch and had the soup and salad special
and eating too much on top of the shot and hayfever left me very lethargic for the rest of the day
forced myself to eat half a turkey sandwich later i feel a little better today

and i'm having pork today for sure
maybe one of those small loin roasts that i have in the freezer

It's a very beautiful, very nice day here in Missouri today. I'm going to BBQ spareribs, have a baked potato and baked beans. I am sooo hungry I can hardly wait.

Well I couldn't sleep so what else is new? Nancy I pat half of the meatloaf mix into a loaf pan make a little ditch in the meat and put some prepared stuffing mix into that then press the other half of the meatloaf mix on top of that.It's real tasty like that. Whenever I get a deal on stuffing mix for around 50 cents a box I use it for things like this fast and easy.Sometimes I put peeled hard boiled eggs in the middle.Tonight we are having pork chops, scalloped potatoes and broccoli
