I'm still trying to empty my freezer so I can get it repaired ..... 90% of my cookie stash is gone.  Some recipes I just have to keep baking and I have to try new recipes.  Tonight I'll have some vegetable beef soup that I found frozen.  And I have to try a new cookie recipe I've found ....Banana chocolate chip.

We had a large caesar salad with the addition of strawberries, one of our favorites.  We ate such a large lunch that we weren't very hungry so the salad was enough.

Cheri -- I add grapes to my salads (I like the red grapes best and use the green ones only when I can't get the red) .... I've never tried a strawberry.  Now you have inspired me to use that.  Thanks

Gale - I wish I was eating at your home!  Your meal sounds delicious and much better than our food that we're having - game fare - brats, burgers, pizza, and whatever junk food others bring to our home to watch the game.

I like to have steak every once in awhile.I was too tired today to make pizza or any other game day food.so I made something quick and easy.Tonight we are going to have French toast and sausage.I'm trying to use up as much as possible before we move into the apartment.

I think I'll lmake scalloped potatoes with ham.  Some days what sounds good early in the day doesn't sound as good to me when it comes time to make it.  I'm sure this happens to others of you, too.  At least the potatoes and ham don't take that long to make.
