We're having french toast, little smokies and scrambled eggs tonight - I absolutely love having breakfast for dinner.  We have so much delicious fresh fruit that we can put some of it on our french toast and have some more for dessert.

LOL -- my dinner was GREAT.   I did a fine job with everything ----- but while I was enjoying it the phone rang and it was a dear friend saying that the great Chinese restaurant was finally open!! (It's been closed for a couple months).  She and her husband we on their way and wanted me to join them.   Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
It hurt to say that I couldn't  make it -- I was eating while we talked.
So she said that she and I could meet there for lunch tomorrow.  She wants to go there at least once a day until she gets satisfied.  LOL   It is a good restaurant.

I was "treated" to dinner.  A local Memory Care Facility had a program given by the Alzheimer's Association and dinner was served.  I had to leave before dessert was served, they were going to have a little dedication for a memory garden and then they were serving but I had a caregiver here and I had to get home.  (I really did not need dessert anyway!)  On Wednesday I was at another seminar on Guardianship's, Powers of Attorney and other legal stuff and it was a "Lunch and Learn" so I had an unexpected lunch that was very good and the program was just as good.  I said to a friend tonight if this keeps up I will be fat but smart.

By the way if anyone does not have legal "stuff" put in place the time to do it is before you need to do it.  Take it from someone that is now living in the midst of legal paperwork, receipts, courts and lawyers.

Great advice, Nikki ---------- that legal stuff is absolutely necessary and it should be done "right now".    Mine is all finished and I'm very pleased.

The weather has finally cooled and it looks like rain is on the way - yeah!  This has me in the mood for cooking and baking.  We'll be having a pot roast tonight, using fresh veggies from the farmer's market.  Along with the roast we have freshly baked bread and oatmeal raisin cookies.  It should be an excellent meal.

Bought a "potato baker" cloth dooficky at a craft fair.  Used that to bake my potatoes in the microwave.  Ten minutes and they came out so fluffy and delicious.  Not the usual sorry excuse for a potato.  Had steak with the potato.  Dessert will be later at a birthday party.
