For dinner tonight, I am making a dish that my Mother taught to me about 60 years ago.  I make it every year when the Yellow Wax beans arrive at our Farmer's Market.  It contains bacon, potatoes, carrots, onions, and of course, yellow wax beans.  It tastes a whole lot better than it sounds....in fact, it is our "most favorite summertime" meal.

Darla - Could you possibly share your recipe for this dish?  My family loves yellow wax beans and the rest of the ingredients sound great.  Enjoy your dinner tonight!

 me; Asian  leek dumpling  soup w/ fresh ginger shreds
 asst.appetizers
  spring  rolls(white meat chicken, black mushrooms& carrots, butterfly shrimp 
 butterfly shrimp w/ asst . dips 
 iced green tea
  fresh orange
 DINNER:
  turkey sandwich or wrap w/ l&t, sweet onion bacon, cheese& 1,000 island dressing 
 honey wheat pretzle  sticks
 appe crisp w/ vanilla bean icecream[ a la mode]

Tonight we're having the easy meal of breakfast for dinner.  We're having sausage patties, fried eggs, with toast and maybe hash browns.  We have a busy evening, so this will fit the bill and be quick to fix and clean up after.

Thr. Breaded (baked) chicken breasts, potato salad, baked beans (from Mon.) corn, cottage cheese & tomato slices for hubby, I had chicken, cranberry sauce, cottage cheese & finished the tomato slices. I shared a snip of chicken with the bird & dog.

We're making chicken patties, a brown and wild rice mixture, lettuce salad with all of the makings from the local farmers market.  This should be a wonderful family meal.

Fri. Made hubby patty melts, baby dill pickles & a side of chips. I had a thin burger on whole wheat toast with mustard & the rest of the sauted onions.
