In Response to Re: WHAT'S FOR DINNER TONIGHT?:
I haven't been feeling the best today, so I had a bowl of oatmeal with fresh strawberries on the side along with a wonderful cup of tea.  I think I'll crawl under the covers and watch a mystery tonight, that should make everything better!

Try a cup of cocoa with a shot of Amaretto with that movie.  Will do wonders and you will sleep well.

Welcome Big P.
I am doing a repeat of last week.
I found a great deal on a fresh ham.  Not smoked or cured just pork.  Put my Rub on it yesterday and it went into the oven around 4 this morning.
Making the Watermelon salad that I likes so much. And I am doing some baked beans.
My Brother in law is going to come over as well as our friend that has done so much in helping me plant.
I do have an ulterior motive I think.  I purchased a bookcase that needs to be put together I am hoping that between the 3 of u we can get it assembled tonight so I can move all my cookbooks to a place where they will have more room. Although that does mean that I will have to organize them
Surprised

Nikki - I had to giggle when I read your post about your bookcase and having to move and organize your cookbooks.  Whenever I move my cookbooks it takes about three times as long as it should because I have to look through some, read some of my Mom's notes, etc.  I hope you got yours moved without too much trouble.

I have some round steak in the crock pot,  one of our favorite meals.  We'll also have mashed potatoes along with green beans.  After all of that there will not be any room for dessert, which is too bad because that's my favorite part of any meal!

I had a l-o-n-g visit at the dentist and was told to not eat anything until after 1PM.  I made it!   I'm making myself a big BLT -- and frying enough bacon to have the same thing for dinner.
This is my last visit to the dentist for some time.  Whew
