Hello everyone....

We worked on cleaning the garage today...we changed quite a few things around and I sprayed for spiders. The box elder bugs are really a nuisance lately but cold weather coming so they should be gone soon

Sherry.

I was really tired so we only had minute steaks on the grill , slices of cucumbers and some bush beans.

 WEDNESDAY;
  We celebrated,early,hubby's birthday  & hegot to choose theplace.Itiscalled  "legal seafodsefoods" & in 1996 wasrated by NBC'sToday show THE BEST NATIONWI DE  seafoodRestaurant.We'vebeen there before ( alwaysfor specialoccassions since t s priceYand aboutan hour away in MasechusettesMoney mouth
NOON:
me:: Portuguese seafoodstew ( likeciopino ( seafodsoup)but w/ a thicker sauce/gravy , seasoned w/ saffron. Mybowl had bout 4oz pieceof haddock or cod,srrounded by  6 mussels& clams in the shell ell w/ Portoguse sausages & ham piecesin a both/gravy/  sauce. It came w/   hot sesame  dinner rolls  w/ real butter& was topped w/ aslab ofgarlic toast; *F*A*N*T*A*S*T*I*C * & even better   than  thelast time; over5 years ago. 
Hubby had Jambalaya  (sp) creole rice 0ked ish  topped w/ 8 fried oyters, just in season&  today'sspecial prepred every which way.we shared a citrus cranberry  topped heesecake
 he had the BEST COFFEE , EVER...Thugh hough I'm not acoffee drinker, I had  A sip  & agreed eed"Thecoffee isthe one  I'd most be wiling to drink( rich& smooth ) if Ihado drinkcoffeee
We bothhad FRESH LEMONADE
  theservice was so goo that hubby tipped 20% ( the highest levelonthe autotip system the estaurant uses( 0%to 20%)
DINNER; 
 neitherof really hungry after thoseBIGbowlsofsoup/stew good hot bread &cheese cake .

me:  homemade bown rice udding ; a golden   sandwhich cream cokie (a  yellow Oreo type  cokie  & cranberry juice
 he:  bowlof cold cereal w/ banana slices.
And d later  for aTV snack a baloney  & heese sandwich.Cool

At my husband's request, I made Vienna hot dogs and baked beans for him tonight.  I had the last of the leftover pizza.

Wed. BBQ pork (4 boneless chops cut into bite size pieces, with a lot of onions, red & green bell peppers & pineapple), cole slaw & a chunk of Sunday's mac & cheese for hubby, I had  BBQ pork & a handful of grape tomatoes. Have enough BBQ left for 2 lunches (or dinner for me & lunch for him)

my eaning lady is coming to let me show her how to make those light balls w/the 9oz solo cups
i made a million of those things last time they were popular but can't handle the stapler now
but i sure remember how they go together

Nellie - We were given what we called our "ball of lights" and used it every Christmas for many years.  When we last moving the movers broke/cracked it.  We have gone to a few craft shows hoping to replace it, but no luck so far.  How nice of you to teach somebody how to make it.  Have fun!

Chicken thighs are thawing, but since hubby has today off, we may end up eating out.  The thighs will be just as good tomorrow.
