Sunday's are difficult for dinner. I have to be at church just before 5 PM for the kid's "art" class, then services so I won't be home until just before 8.

Tonight, on my way home, I bought an Arby's roast beef (no drink ... they don't sell white milk and if I can't have that, I don't want anything) that I ate while driving home.

I am ok with Chinese as well. Love something spicy, how about Kung Pao Chicken? Orange Chicken is good as well.

I'd love to have you all visit; but I need lots of warning/lead-time if you expect to be fed.We are on satight schedule for hubby's diabetes; often nibbling/grazing instead of real meals.Lots of etrrific estaurants nearby ifyou want to go that route.If planning on eating here;take me shoping & help me cook set the table (seats only 6 max.; serve clean up;it will be FUN for all
In small groups ( upto 4 guests);I can manage w/2 days warning; larger groups need more prep & therefore more advanced notice.

prepare ourself to learn to cook Asian foods; not only Chinese, lso Thai;Japanese & even Korean; several GREAT Chinese restaurants nearby; takeout afewdishes & share w/ eachother, adding our own homemade goodies.

Dinner was just potluck; clear the freezer for more room for potstickers; spring-rolls; shrimp& calamari There wll always be tea & usualy fresh fruit & cookies; dending on the time of year.Tomorrw is pizza; zuchinni soup;black cherry jello cups w/topping, maybe cookies; made plenty over the weekend.
TinightI had a hot dog; bakededbeans & sauerkrot; taking it easy after Asian mkt sucessful shoping spree
We preferGeneralGau'schcken to kung pao; but that'savailabe for take out down the road a bit.

That post about home made soup decided it for me......... I thawed a nice batch of my ham and cabbage soup.
I love that stuff and it's a cold, cloudy evening - perfect for soup.
