Nancy, not sure you could handle the complicated glaze I made....Wink
1 Cup of powdered sugar
3 Tb creamy peanut butter
4 to 5 Tb hot water.
Mix together add more hot water to get desired consistency.  I used this to drizzle on a bundt cake if you want more just add more of each item. 
This is a version of a glaze I found in a cookbook.  I did not want it as sweet so I reduced the sugar from 2 cups to 1 but I did want a strong peanut butter flavor so I kept the rest of the ingredients the same.

i just have a sebacious(sp) cyst----------that needs to be removed --------8am tomorrow-----in office----------but he put me on a nasty anti-biotic-- -----------that makes everything taste nasty and i expect to have some stomach distress as usual------------so i won't be making them this week---------until i can taste again

Niki - what's your opinion about using the peanut butter glaze on apple cake?  What sorts of cake do you use it with?

I would do a caramel glaze or a simple cinnamon glaze for an apple cake.  I think the peanut butter glaze would detract from the apple and the spices.
For the cinnamon glaze just use powdered sugar add cinnamon or even apple pie spice and either water, apple juice or cider to thin out the glaze.
For the Caramel just melt caramels with a bit of milk or use ice cream topping and thin it if you need to.

Oh you poor thing.  My husband had a sebaceous cyst that got a bit nasty.  The doctor removed it in the office as best as he could but my husband waited to tell me it was inflamed so by the time we got to the doctors office it was a bit out of control.  He ended up on antibiotics after the fact.
Will be thinking of you....

No I forgot to get them.my son is going to Aldi's after work to get more bananas />22 cents a #  I'll have him get vanilla wafers.

nancy------ree drummond has a show on sun morning on the food network---The Pioneer Woman-----

she also has a blog about her life on the ranch------enter her name on foodnetwork.com and get some recipes and more info about her blog

the brownie is similar to the layers-of-love on this site except ---it starts with a german choc cake mix       and uses reg choc chips instead of white
