Today I sent many, many different sorts of cookies and a couple kinds of dessert nibbles to a singing group's lunch with the teens of church.  Tonight I saw the hostess and she said  all the kids went just wild over the
No-Bake Butterscotch Snack Bites.  The batch I sent lasted no time and the kids begged for more.

You just gotta' look at that recipe.  I really love it too - these kids, high school and college age,  enjoyed  it more than anything else.
I really suggest you try this stuff.

I am going to make what my Mom called a Brown Cow.
It is root beer and milk. Rather than the Black Cow, that was Ice cream and root beer. (AKA Root Beer Float.)
Keeping it sort of low cal with diet root beer and skim milk. I am not fond of the artificial sweetener anyway so diluting it with milk is even better.

When we were kids my mother did that for us with Moxie.  I'm pretty sure only folks from New England are familiar with Moxie.  it was really good with milk.

Mary Ann's post about rasberries and blueberries made me think about all the dried fruit I have in my cupboard.  I gotta' make some of Nestles great  cookies that call for dried fruits.

Hi Judy, we knew about Moxie in PA, too.  My Dad thought it was great "stuff".
