Gale, I haven't had cherry crisp in years. Does it ever sound good!! I like it with
vanilla ice cream too. The only way I like cherry pie is when it has vanilla ice
cream on top.  Oh so yummy!!! I got a can of cherry pie filling at Walmart
last week but I didn't get the same price as you did.  Lucky you!!!Smile

Hi Carol,I posted the crisp recipe under the cakes and pies forum started by Susan.I went back to the store and the cherries are gone I'm going to check out a couple more of their store to see if they have any.I know 2/$1 how can you beat that.Every once in awhile they have close outs and they mark them way down. One time they had canned chili peppers 2/$1 every where else they are around $1.49.They marked down their one cake mix to 2/$1 because it was a theme product for the 4th of July. They buy up products from places that didn't sell the items and reduce them greatly.I have to close my eyes when I go there because I could spend a fortune there.LOL

Tonight I plan on going to the Kenosha County Fair..There is a vendor there that sells one of the beat Cinnamon Buns I have had.  Pecans and Cinnamon and an icing to top it all off....That is what I plan on getting.  Not really a dessert as it will also be my dinner.  And I will get 1 to take home and I will be having one for breakfast tomorrow morning. Now that I have consumed all the calories I should have for the week in 2 Cinnamon Buns....but they are soooo soooo good....... maybe I should share it....
