Hi,   I'm new to this forum and look forward to sharing recipes with everyone.  Here is a recipe that I plan to try tonight or tomorrow before everyone shows up for the Father's Day feast.      Raspberry chocolate brownies 1 box chewy fudge brownie mix 1 3.13 oz, chocolate pudding mix 3 eggs 1/4 c. water 1/2 c. veg. oil 1 c. raspberry jam 1/2 pint fresh raspberries Preheat oven to 350. Coat 9x13 pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, mix together all ingeredients exceot for jam. Beat well. Transfer batter into prepared baking pan. Drop jam by spoonfuls over batter and swirl through with a table knife. Bake for approx. 28 minutes or until done. Cool in pan; cut into squares. Makes about 24, Serve topped with fresh berries. Lynn

A caregiver that was with my husband yesterday gave me a recipe for a very very easy Key Lime Pie.
Best thing is it is No bake so we are having that for dessert tonight.
Here is the recipe.
Frozen Key Lime Pie
1 Graham cracker crust.
1 container, 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed.
1 can, 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
1/2 Cup lime juice.
Lime zest
In a bowl combine lime juice and milk, stir until combined.  Stir in the whipped topping.
Pour into pie crust.
Grate lime zest on top.
Freeze.

I would imagine this could easily be done with lemon juice.
Thinking about it I think it would be good with a berry puree, I would press thawed berry mixture through a sieve to remove seeds.  Since the berry mixture would be thicker you could probably use a bit more than the 1/2 Cup of juice called for.  I will try it and let you know.

Just plain ole strawberry shortcake.  The berries I purchased yesterday at the Farmer's Market are so good looking, and I'm sure they will be just the ticket for dessert tonight, regardless of how they are fixed!  Might even top them with some ice cream!

I would go for the pineapple upside down cake..or cupcake.  Not a fan of cupcakes but I do like pineapple upside down cake so I guess the cupcake would be just as good.

My husband stopped at Dairy Queen and brought home some Dilly Bars.  It has been years since I've had one of them, so this was a welcome and tasty dessert!

i did------------the cookies are easier to store---------------i love the cake also-i actually used the jumbo muffin pans------------since i was sharing them with my g.n. family----------it was easier and i didn't follow the recipe---i used a yellow cake mix---and---the juice of the pineapple slices------------and i melted the butter in the pans------in the oven and added the brown sugar and pineapple slice--------------and they were delicious------------and all gone as another friend stopped by last night and shared--------and my b.i.l. sent for another one

Welcome Lynn, and thanks for the brownie recipe.  I just happen to have a box of brownie mix in my cupboard.  I sent hubby to the store with a list and he read "brown rice" as brownie mix.  They were the same price he said.

I have fresh peaches and fresh strawberries in the 'fridge.  I'll have one of those for dessert.
