it turns out great let me know! I trust your judgement!! The Italian Love Cake is awesome
too!  I will be in Phoenix from Nov. 7 to the 14th for the Nascar Race. Talk to you soon!

My dessert for THIS MORNING  ..........

Today is the second Sunday of the month -- my turn to take goodies to the little kids' Sunday School.  I've packed a plateful of those really good Peanut Butter w/ milk chocolate chips.  Great cookies!

Tonight we'll finish the pumpkin pie I made yesterday.I sent one home with my son.His Mom in law needed to borrow a pie plate so I sent it home with him with a pie in the plate.I made the pies from our Jack o Lanterns.I froze the pumpkin and thawed the pumpkin out and there was quit a bit of liquid.I put the pumpkin in a very tight screened colander and let it drain.I followed the Libby's pumpkin pie recipe and the pies turned out great.I've done this for many years I remember when we were kids we couldn't wait for Mom to make Jack o Lantern pie from our pumpkins. I was able to freeze enough pumpkin for 10 pies and we enjoyed the roasted pumpkin seeds as well.

I mixed up a batch of chocolate chip cookies and a batch of those great oatmeal butterscotch cookies.  I'll bake them tonight and that will be my dessert.

There is ALWAYS room for desserts.
I made 2 Chocolate Truffle Pies, one to take one to keep.
I made a Pumpkin Crunch Cake to bring to a friend on Friday.
My daughter is making a Pumpkin Torte. Also a pumpkin pie. One of the sides she makes is almost like a dessert it is a casserole of pineapple mixed with cheddar cheese and Ritz crackers topping it.
