  Hi NANCY G;We love canteloupe & any time it's less than$2 each we get onee; when they're under $1( $.99) we get 2.
Huby halves them
I clean out the seeds, slice & peel them & cut into bite size chunks we eat w/ lobster forks from crysal bowls  or w/toothpics out  ofdisposable plastic cups;

Ann - it sounds good.  It's great that you're getting good cantaloupe at this time of year.

Last night we had cranberry cake.  It was still warm from the oven.  I decided to make it after the cookies came out.  Cranberry cake was very good.  Being fresh from the oven it still had those nice crisp edges like the ones Nancy and I like on the brownies

After  baking cookies all day, the last thing I want is dessert lol!  But I did taste the toasted almonds when they came out of the oven, couldn't resist them lol.

I had thought it would be cookies and ice cream but when I checked the cookie boxes there were only two left of any of the seven kinds I made this year.  I didn't get anymade last year so I guess they were making up for the deficit.

I made a pumpkin roll last week, and we are still finishing it up.  I think it gets better after it has "aged" a while.
