This was not the first time that I've got the message "" when I was looking for a recipe under Most Popular Content.  Today I wanted to see BLUE RIBBON PEACH COBBLER.  Has this happened to anybody else?  Why include something if the recipe/page no longer exists?

Jean...

I just did this and it worked.  At the upper right hand of the page is Search, put in Blue Ribbon Peach Cobbler and you will find it.  I hope this helps you!

I did it, too, and it worked.  Try it again.

This might be due to the fact that VBB uses several different servers.  That was their explanation for some of the log-in problems and the "gooey" problem.  I haven't had a problem lately(fingers crossed lol).

There had been a recipe for a chocolate Truffle that I wanted to see and every time I clicked on it I got the "Webpage cannot be found" message.  I just gave up figuring that the recipe did not exist.  I really didn't need a recipe for a truffle anyway!

every time i've tried to post a shared recipe---------------it lets me do the whole thing and edit-----and when i click to add the recipe--------i get the gooey message--------------i have not been able to post a recipe since they changed the site so drastically in nov, 2010-----because of having hand problems it takes a lot to do this the way they want it now-----------and i still have not successfully posted any recipes on this new site---------------------but they are very gooey in their brains and responses of referring your request to someone else----and then you get an e-mail tellling you that they are looking into it---------and then another e-mail later on that they either didn't find the problem or they fixed it-----------------but didn't

sometimes i feel like i'm speaking greek when i've talked with a real person about the swapped recipes from the old site and they tell me that they are all under "community classics" and when i put that in i get less than 500 recipes that are not in any kind of order------and i knew some people from the old site that had more than 500 recipes entered------so where are all of those

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that gets these messages.  I did find that if I can Copy the name of the item in Most Popular Content (instead of clicking on it), then Paste it in Search, that works and I don't get the "The webpage cannot be found" message.

i have also been a member since the start-----but it shows 2 yrs-----i assume that means that they didn't value our contributions enough to restore our files and recipes

I haven't gotten the "gooey" since the miracle occurred and I'm able to do whatever with no problems.  I guess that's my reward after getting "gooey" for months

What is a shared recipe?  I'm being funny.  I haven't seen that since they changed the site.  Or is it in hiding somewhere other than by chance when you do a Search or in Most Popular Content?  And then those are recipes from the past, not current.

I get the gooey when I sign in or when I answer a question and then can't get back in, even though they say WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK.

Hi Marie --- I am the slowest and least informed computer user you've ever heard from ...... but sometimes when I get that gooey message after logging in I just ckick "back" and it works!  Well, it works for a couple of forums, then it quits again.

they actually still call it ----swapped-------------lol

but if you go into your personal---------my recipe box------------and click on -------add recipe-----------you can type your recipe in  --------as you enter it and get to the end of the form---------it asks you if you would like to swap the recipe-------------or keep it private-you click on the swap -then when someone clicks on your avatar
they can see your recipe box--------------

if everyone made theirs open to the rest of us --------------the recipes would be easier to copy---and you wouldn't have to keep typing them in

this is the part that is not working for me-----------------try it and see if you can enter a recipe without ending up gooey---------and the recipe lost in the nether
