You could try to bake them.  I don't think frying them again would be a good idea since the out side is browned that would probably just get darker and the inside would not get cooked anymore before the outside became too dark.
The one time I tried them I was not at all pleased.  While fired dough is great the "cronuts" seemed a bit greasy because of the thickness of the dough.  So for fried dough I will stick to Elephant ears and eat donuts or croissant but never the twain should meet.

What is a cronut?  I take it that it is some kind of donut?

A "cronut" is a donut made with croissant dough.  It is cut like a donut and fried.
You end up with flaky layers of the croissant but it has been fried so you get the crispy of the donut.  The one I had was dusted with cinnamon sugar but I have soon glazed ones as well.
I was not overly impressed with it.  It is possible that the one I had was not done correctly as it did seem a bit greasy.
Over all not my most favorite.  Again if I am going for fried dough I am happy with an Elephant ear or I will stick with a nice light buttery flaky croissant.
