This is one of our favorite salads during the summer and tastes especially good with tomatoes and cucumbers fresh from the garden.I wash and cut up the tomatoes and cucumbers and a sweet onion and just pour on our favorite oil based Italian dressing.I like the one in the packet you make up yourself. This can be done hours before dinner it always tastes so good and fresh. It marintes if you make it ahead of time this is what I do.

One of  our favorite salads in the summer when I have fresh home grown tomatoes, is slices of tomato topped with a slice of Mozzarella cheese, a fresh basil leaf and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar dressing.

Sounds good, thanks for sharing Mikki.  I usually make something similar only using pepper instead of cucumber.

THis salad or just cucumbers and onions with an oil and vinegar dressing slightly sweetened are so good especially at this time of the year.

Love this salad!!  Years ago, a friend from Lebanon served this salad, and I begged for the recipe.  I was amazed at the few ingredients.....it tasted like so much more!  She said she used her own version of the dressing; but I have been using "Good Seasons"!  So good!!
