In Response to STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD:
1 cup of pretzels coaresely crushed, 1/2 cup sugar, 3/4 cup of butter,softened. 1/3 cup chopped nuts your choice.1 8oz. package cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of whipping cream whipped , 1 6oz.box strawberry jello, 2 cups boiling water, 2- 10oz.boxes frozen strawberries. Mix together the crushed pretzels,1/2 cup of sugar,butter and nuts.lightly press this into a greased 9x13 glass baking dish.Bake for ten minutes in a 350* oven and cool completely. Combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and the whipped cream.Spread over the cooled pretzel crust. Dissolve the jello in the boiling water and add the frozen strawberries.When the jello is about 75% set pour on top of the cream cheese layer.Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.Serve with whipped cream on top.
