LOL LOL __
I got there!!  Instead of clicking on the address, I copied and pasted it and - lo and behold - I got there.
Amazing.     The site is sooooo much fun and great to see.
But there aren't any recipes  - just photos and descriptions.
Oh well, it's not the kind of food I'm making anyhow.

The web site is worth all the "trouble".

My husband and I were always "fair" goers.  It would start in May with the Chocolate Fest in Burlington Wisconsin and go all the way through September, the last fair of the season around here is Sandwich Fair held the weekend after Labor day.  I just might try to get there this year although he did not do well last year and that was before his fall so I really don't think it is a good idea.
I miss the fair food, my favorite was always a Cinnamon Roll made by The Silver Dollar Bakery trailer.  Amazing cinnamon rolls.  Then there is always the Elephant Ears.  What's not to love about fried dough drenched in "butter" cinnamon and sugar.

Wow - do some of those sound good!  In our family we always say that whatever you eat at the State Fair doesn't count, calorie wise.  Ha!

That Texas Fried Fireball sounds pretty good but I would have to have that after I try....
Deep Fried Cuban Roll for lunch and for dessert the Awesome Deep Fried Nutella
For Dinner the
Fried Thanksgiving Dinner then the Golden Fried Millionaire Pie for dessert.
The Fried Fireball would have to be as I was leaving so my delicate palate would not be over worked  by spices.  Otherwise I would not be able to fully appreciate the flavors of the other items.

By the way does Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers have a booth at the fair?

these treats were only the top 8 entrants in a contest for best new fried food
i'm sure fried bacon is still available, along with many, many standbys and favorites from prior years
