This is wonderful and everyone seems to like this.It should be made one day ahead. 2 14oz.gingerbread mix or your own is fine, one 5.1 oz.box of cook and serve pudding,not instant, one 30 oz. can of pumpkin not pumpkin pie mix,1/2 cup brown sugar,1 teas.cinnamon,one 12 oz.cool whip. Bake the gingerbread according to the recipe,cool ,make the pudding according to directions and allow it to cool.mix pumpkin sugar and cinnamon together and add to cooled pudding stir well.Crumble 1/2 the ginger bread and put it in a large bowl,maybe a punch bowl.pour half the pumpkin mixture over the ginger bread,add half the cool whip on top of that and repeat with the remaining ingredients.You can crumble ginger snap cookies over the top if desired.I made this for one of our block parties and everyone loved it.

My daughter makes a dessert very much like this. It is very very good. She does not put it in a bowl but just layers the stuff on the cake and serves it that way. Great flavor, the gingerbread makes it a little out of the ordinary.
