In Response to Re: pumpkin bread : I add cranberries to a lot of things. When I make stuffing...or dressing I add a hand full or two of cranberries. Strange as it sounds when I make turkey soup the carcass goes in and it often has a bit of the stuffing clinging to it and some cranberries. I started adding cranberries to my turkey soup when I discovered the tartness of the cranberries cut through the richness of the soup. I found, and lost a recipe for a raw cranberry relish that is amazing, a friend has the recipe and she is sending it to me so I can make it again. Great on sandwiches. I made some apple butter last week and used the cranberries left in the bag after I made my Cranberry Almond Pound cake. (as a die hard choholic I am still in love with this cake that has no chocolate!)

Nikki, I'm happy to see someone else makes turkey carcass soup. My mom always did so my sisters and I do. I might just try the cranberries, as I also, use some berries in my stuffing.
