I just looked at the recipe.  I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination but here are a few of my thoughts.
I think the pumpkin would be a predominate flavor in the bread and the banana might be lost.
You could do a few things to bring more banana flavor to the bread.
1. Freeze the banana first then thaw in a strainer to remove most of the water that will come out.
2 Sauté the banana so you caramelize the sugars and heighten the banana flavor.
3. Decrease the oil and add another banana in place of the oil.
I think doing one or more of these will give you more banana flavor.
I think though the pumpkin will be the first flavor that you taste.

When I want pumpkin bread I want pumpkin and when I want a banana bread I want big banana flavor so this is not a recipe that I would go to first when making a bread. Adding the banana to cut down on the oil would be a good reason to try this though.

thanks nikki------------that was my first thought too about more banana----------i love my banana nut bread and pumpkin also--------------i just thought to try it for a change----also to give some banana to my little grand nephew who now loves my pumpkin muffies better than panara bread's

most of my banana bread is made with frozen bananas but i never thought of straining them---------but i know when they come out of that freezer bag all black and slimy they make the best banana bread
