In Response to Re: POPOVERS:
I made many popovers and cream puffs  for the restaurants when I had my bakery.  I would always make a few extra for the family.  My son still wants me to make the mini cream puffs that one restaurant would always order for super bowl Sunday.  I think they would order something like 125 dozen.  My son would have a hissy fit because each one would be weighed so they had the right amount of filling.  Boy those were the day when the place smelled so sweet!

Gale, that's exacly where I bought my popover pan, at Goodwill, for $1.00. And I felt like I had found a treasure! They are much better than using a muffin pan or custard cups.

You did find a treasure, lucky you! I had no idea what it was when I saw them there.I'm sure they are better, the popovers have more space to pop.I'm going to  have to invest in some because we really like them. It's even nice in the evening to have a couple with a nice hot cup of coffee.

I've made biscuits and muffins, but never popovers.  I'll have to try them.  Sounds good.  Thanks for all the ideas.
