More baking - lol - it's sure sweet for me.
This afternoon I stirred up another batch of Butterscotch Gingerbread Cookie dough

Nothing is in my oven; right now...I spent NEW YEAR'S EVE DAY baking everything I thought we might need for the first week of 2011; planning to "take it easy" for awhile.Tonigh, tthere will be garlic-cheese toast, to go with tonight's vegetable- beef-barley soup,planned to warm up hearth & home.

The cheesecake I made turned out perfect. I was so so happy and gave thanks to the Lord for it was my second attempt and my first was so so. It was a New York style cheesecake. And my collard greens and blackeye peas turned out fantastic too. My son in law said they were the best he had tasted. Wow made me feel so good. Hope everyone is well.

Today; nothing is in my oven!!!!!!!!!!!!.....Yesterday,I baked several dozen cookies; double chocolae chunk & ; chocolate w/ PB filling; boping they'll last a while so I won't have to spend another day in the kitchen too soon. Hubby brought home a book from the library & I really want to finish it berfore it's due back.The 12 serving cheese cake bakedearlier this week is nearly gone; but hubby ( to the rescue) brought home a strawberry rhubarb pie from his daily 5 mile walk
( spotted it on sale @ the bakery)

"in my oven" , right now; nothing but the lingering aroma of: au gratin potatoes( for tomorrow) & banana- oatmeal cookies w/hocolate chips, raisins & wallnuts; baked eartly this AM 4 dozendrop cookies& 2 dozen bar cookies; hopeflly wil last a few days; smel so godthey mght not make it till Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did hold out 1/4 of the dough to skip the candy bar but add semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, white chips, peanut butter chips and dry roasted peanuts.
