Nancy, it is one of those things that I don't use a recipe. I just cut up pears to fit the size of the container I want to bake, mix probably 1/4 c sugar, 1 T flour if pears are juicy, 1 t. nutmeg, 1 t. cinnamon, 1/2 t mace and stir into the pears. For the topping I use a couple cups of oats, a cup of whole wheat flour, some butter, some oil, about 1/4 c. brouwn sugar, mix together and sprinkle on. I don't really have exact measurements for anything. I usually use a bigger than 9x13 pyrex dish for baking. It is probably 10x 14 or 15.
