Since it's very cool today, and being Sunday, I am making a pork tenderloin roast.  Maybe I'll make roasted carrots and asparagus while the oven is on.  Of course it wouldn't be complete without homemade biscuits LOL!  Have a Happy Halloween everyone and stay safe.

Tonight my church is havings its annual Campsite Meeting.  We're all meeting at a big bonfire where we will sing with violins, accoridion and guitars.  We'll hear a great visiting preacher then eat.
We're gaving chili, veggie soup and potato soup with all sorts of things - especially dessert!

Guess what was (past tense - thank goodness!!) in my oven.  This morning I made dough for more Snickers Bar, Snickerdoodles, peanut butter and ginger snap cookies.  Whew.
They're all baked, bagged and in the freezer .... except the bunch I'm taking to breakfast in the morning.  These people have never heard of Snickerdoodles (is that Snickerdodles?) and never tasted a home made ginger snap.    Such a NICE restaurant that lets us eat cookies ... and pass them around the entire place.

I hav started buying up my baking supplies for making Christmas cookies.  I tell you you really have to watch the ad's for the items on sale right now.  I have brought flour (4 bags that are in the freezer), margarine (in the freezer), and chocolate chips (also in the freezer).  I still have a few more supples to buy but I  have a good start on what I need to make my cookies.  My dh likes it when I do some baking cause he never knows what he is going to get,

Pamela -  I've never stored my flour in the freezer ... I didn't know about that.
Thanks for the info I might need some day.  Right now I'm using flour at such a furious
pace there's no worry about it getting "old".
