Earlier,today: Nestle's white chip macadamia nut cookies; too good to live without & ****2wonderful cookies is only one starch exchange...[ I cut them in 1/2 dagonally & bake only 10 minutes till edges begin to brown & get nice 3" cookies @ only & one starch exchange for both:>)

ALSO
an 8"x8" pan of oatmeal banana-nut,choco-chip cake squares;A special request from hubby who was devastated when " somebody"had eaten the entire pan; baked last week & there was none left for him last night; actually I had one square put aside for myself ( out of 16 squares )& we shared it.
My reward is I don't have to re- pay him for the pretty sterling silver neck chain his cousin( a jewelry maker) custom made for me I had put it on" the card", so she could mail it right out.
It arrived today & we both love it; she even sent a gift of a s.s.charm for the chain.

Ann - sounds like you had a great day .... well deserved so I'm very glad.

Today I need to chop a few jars of marachino cherries - a job I absolutely hate.
But I like to keep the chopped jars on hand for the Ice Cream Sundae cookies here.
They are sooooooooo good and so popular with my friends.
I just wish I could buy cherries already chopped.

Well, this was not made in my oven but on the stove!

I used the coupon for Choc. Chips from Nestle and I made for the first time...FUDGE!!! Woo-hoo and it got good!

I used the recipe from Nestle and I was very very pleased!

Today I baked the Ice Cream Sundae cookies and a batch of Chocolate Truffle cookies.
Then I made my first batch of some Cinnamon Candy Caramel Corn .... that took a long time and wasn't
very much fun. I'll be giving it to kids tomorrow night (in a take-home bag) so I'll get some opinions later.

This evenning, I baked WHOLE GRAIN BLUEBERRY MUFFINS; 6 regular size & 24 minis; so yummy we chose to substitute them for our dinner tonight!

Hi Ann,Chinese almond cookies are one of my favorites.One of my Mom's Dr.'s was Chinese and whenever we went to see him he always gave some to me because he knew I loved them.I think I might make a ginger bread cake that I have been wanting to try.

I've been baking up a storm since Monday and it will be the same today. In my 'fridge I have the dough for Mexican Wedding Cakes, Nestle's Chocolate Mint* and my Snickers Filled Peanut Butter Cookies all ready to bake .
When they're all baked and in the freezer I'm going to stir up two more batches of something.

*of course, I have no mint chips but the cookies is so good I simply use the white chips. It's a delicious and pretty cookie.

I baked all day yesterday, everything used sour milk in it, oatmeal raisin cookies, spice cookies, raisin spice bundt cake and muffins. Now I'm in the process of trying to give it away!
