My son requested homemade cinnamon rolls for his birthday treat, so the rolls are baked and frosted waiting for the family celebration. He and another of his brothers rarely request cake for their treat, one year it was won tons, one year one of them wanted a pineapple, so I never what request is coming, but I'm always up for the challenge. Of course, since I was making cinnamon rolls I had to make a few pecan caramel rolls, my favorite.

Last week I made a pan of mud pie brownies and 2 dozenP B filled brownie bites there's stil little left but "NOT FOR LONG!"
The week before, I made chhcolate chip-walnut oatmeal cookies w/ craisins & yummy original chocolate chip cookies.

In a little bit I will be putting a homemade lasagna in the oven. I think I could eat pasta in one shape or another every single day, but then my hips would be even bigger - lol!

nothing with chocolate chips could ever be called plain
in fact a lot of the members (including me) add them to many recipes where they were not included , also nuts

My oven is never empty. I store baking pans and the broiler pan in it. I have to do a lot of removal whenever I bake, but I have o other place to store the stuff. Do any of you store stuff in your oven? I always look before turning it on.

Judy, yes I store something in my oven too. I keep my black cast iron frying pan in there because it's been greased and it's just a good place!

Judy - My oven is never empty, also. We have such little storage space in our kitchen so we keep our baking pans and cookie sheets along with the broiler pans in our oven. As a popular section in our local paper states "you're never the only one" to do something and this has just been proven here in this forum.
