Right now my oven is empty.Earlier, tonight I baked bluebrry oatmeal mufins( 6 reguar size & 48 minis.Hubby loves muffins & I'm hoping this batch wil take care of him for a
little while.; actually more than a litle while; preferably about a week.This morning, Ibaked 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies ( jubby loves cookies) & 54 mini sesame rolls using whole wheat dough.I intended for them to go with the different soups I plan to make in this next week( it's so cold; soups sound especially good.
Hubby came back from his volunteer job assisting the teacher o f a fifth grade class; w/ teaching algebra & geometry to disadvantaged kids, some w/ a.d.d ; most w/ behavior problems.Idid not have lunch(veggie soup & pizza quite ready ; hubby didnt complain; he just kept popping the little sesame rolls into his mouth & folowed up w/ somehot tea from his mug( already on thetable)able.( I had got that far anyway.I had the pizza done & it only had to be microwaved for 2 minutes to melt the cheese & heat the crust.Hubby put the soup on the stove to heat up
I had already unmolded the black cherry jello
Hubby toped d it w/ whippedcream& walnut pieces ( his fave jello recipe).
Ibrushed my teeth &, washedup & got r.t.g. to the dentist( routnie every 6 months visit.;
NO NEW CAVITIES ( again) I'm going on 25 years w/o a new cavity once again compliments on my good dental hygeine practices

Hubby too had no new cavities( about 15 years for him)

I finally made something that I thought of making for about 30 years. I am sorry I waited so long, but I finally made "stuffed onions". I just did the chicken flavored stuffing & the leftovers were just as good reheated in the microwave. I used 6 large onions & was able to make 4 small versions out of the insides that I was able to pull out intact (I kind of messed up the first 2 that I did). I planned on using the onions as a side dish, but I ended up eating 2 of them and was full so that was my dinner. I used large yellow cooking onions but after baking they were nice & sweet. I plan on making small ones for the holidays. PS no onion breath

Well I did try a new recipe last night as stated but do not see that, however I made Butterscotch fudge and it turned out very good. Think I had mentioned somewhere else brownies but that was a boo boo. Have to send the recipe to Marty, he would liker. it. His cheesecakes are to die for.

In my oven is an apple walnut cake and it will be sprinkled with conf. sugar when cool and on top of the stove I am making a big pot of vegetable soup with rice and kolbasi.Coffee wil be served wth apple walnut cake.Everyone have a great day,it's bright and sunny here a perfect fall day.

It's MY BIRTHDAY &i VE BEEN FORBIDDEN TO GO INTO THE KITCHEN.
YESTERDAY, I baked ONE DDOZEN OATMEAL SCOTCHIES TOPPED w/ WALNUT HALVES & 1/2 DOZEN NESTLE'S "ULTIMATES"CHOCOLATE fILLED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES.
??IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW THAT'S 1/2 PKG.EACH OF HUBBY 'S FAVE COOKIES??
THE REST IS/ARE REPACKED & FROZEN TO USE UP w/in 2 MONTHS. I'm pretty sure they'll be baked & enjoyed before Christmas

Here is the recipe for the Peanut Butter Tasty Kakes

2 CUPS FLOUR
DASH OF SALT
1 CUP OF MILK
4 EGGS
2 CUPS OF SUGAR
1 3/4 CUPS PEANUT BUTTER
1 TSP. VANILLA
2 TBSP. OIL
12 OX. NESTLE CHOC. CHIPS

CREAM EGGS, MILK, SUGAR, OIL, FLOUR, SALT AND VANILLA. BEAT WELL, POUR INTO A LARGE GREASED AND FLOURED (WITH SIDES) COOKIE SHEET.
BAKE AT 350* FOR ABOUT 25 MINUTES. WHILE CAKE IS STILL HOT, SPREAD WITH THE PEANUT BUTTER AND ALLOW TO COOL IN REFRIG. MELT CHOC. AND SPREAD OVER COOLED CAKE.

Hi Susan .... What size is your cookie sheet (with sides) used in this gorgeous recipe?
hee hee hee ..... I have cookie sheets (with sides) in three different sizes.
I much prefer the sheets without sides so I have those in three sizes.
