GRANA here;
Yesterday I BAKED2 DOZEN "CLASSIC" SUGAR COOKIES
ttoday I made4 dozen chocolateblossom cookie dough balls;; baked half& froze half as RTB cookies for a busy day hen homemade cookies are needed.
I also baked aJUMBO baking potato for Sunday's inner ; while the oven was already on

This weekend my kitchen was a cookie factory! 18 dozen cookies!!! Worked harder at home than at my job! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

Nancy, candy is good to make when the weather isn't humid. I think it has been pretty dry lately so it would be good candy making.

Judy -Thank you - I know I can't make divinity unless it's pretty dry. This morning St Louis Fox says it's 75%. I have everything set up for peanut brittle ..... the microwave method of making that doesn't seem to care.

Today, hubby went grocery shoppingsolo alowing meto take it easy.He got most of the i tems on the list .
He bought 2 raspberry squares( halfprice) ;left them on the table in the bakery box...Cali openedthe bolx & helpedherself...I have one& 1/2 left ...
I baked a JUMBO baking potato& a large ( sugar& fat free chocolate marble/ripple cheese cake in a chocolate crust( 16 servings) to help us make it through the rest of the year.including any
" drop in" visitors

Yesterday I was telling my granddaughter about the "poke cake" that I used to make for the Christmas season when her Daddy was little. Since she loves jello so much she asked if I could make one of the cakes for us for dessert sometime soon. So, I decided that I would make the cake for us for tonight, and then take some pieces to our neighbors that are always appreciative of goodies. I use red jello for one layer and green jello for the other layer.

Cream cheese, apricot danish made with croissents. Love the easy recipes that look like you took a lot of time and energy plus they are so tasty!!

I currently have in my oven 3 pumpkin breads. I added walnuts, dried cranberries and fresh cranberries. I also did not want to "wheel" into the pantry to get down a 10 pound bag of sugar so I used a bit of brown sugar when I ran out of white sugar.
They have about 40 minutes to go and the house is starting to smell like pumpkin and cinnamon.

We just got done baking our granddaughters favorite cookies to welcome her home from school. After the horrific happenings in Connecticut earlier today, we just want to welcome her home with love and comfort. Our prayers go out to all of those touched by the sadness of this day.
