Yesterday I baked butter/sugar cookies, pecan graham cracker cookies, made spicey crackers, and turtles. I still have to make more butter/sugar cookies. Mexican wedding cookies, ans simple caramels. When my daughter comes we'll make microwave pralines.

Earlier, today, my oven was going "hot & heavy"
While hubby shopped for groceries; I baked: oven" fried hicken fritters, a yam and a pan of brownies. Also 2 dozen chocolate rum crisps/wafers & 2 mud pies, each serving two.
The plan is to be able to end the year w/sweet yummy treats each day. Hubby brought home a 3# bag of oranges, a3 # bag of apples; 2 dozen almond biscotti cookies; 3 asst.Danish pastries.
And a large ripe canteloupe. It seems we both planned for the same sweet year's ending
I was back in the kitchen, baking apples & cubing canteloupe. Including the cheesecake I baked yesterday,I'm pretty sure we'llll have enough sweet treats to get us through the end of the year & into next year.

I decided to make the pumpkin cheesecake for Christmas. it was a huge hit. I think this is the first time in my 50 years of baking that I didn't make pies for Christmas. I highly recommend the pumpkin cheesecake.

I borrowed a large crock pot from my neighbor for a party at Christmas time. I have a crock pot but not a large one like hers. For Christmas, she gave me a crock pot the size of hers. I've been making all kinds of crock pot meals. I never was much for using the old pot but I want to make use of this one because it was such a thoughtful gift. I've made an apricot pork roast, a southwest kind of dish with chicken and plan to make baked beans today. Why I didn't use one when I was a working woman is beyond me!

I have no idea how I missed this! What is your Bundt cake recipe? I just took a caramel apple bundt cake out of the oven. That is going to a party tomorrow along with my Cranberry Streusel Pie. I know, me going to a gathering with out something chocolate, almost unheard of!
So what type of cake did you make?
