Retaj -- your good recipe for chocolate chip cookies but add Nestle's white chips instead. Use that recipe again and skip the chips - add lots of pecans and coconut. Try adding dried fruits ...... Search all the recipes here.
This is my very favorite and certainly the most popular. Got this winner from a dear woman right here.
Choc Chunk Oatmeal w/Pecans & Cherries (or cranberries) 40-42 cookies --350* -- 12 minutes -- parchment paper 12 Tblsp butter, softened 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/4 cups flour 3/4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/4 cups old fashioned or quick oatmeal 1 cup pecans 1 cup dried cranberries or cherries 1/2 bag dark chocolate chips Heat oven 350*, put parchment on cookie sheets. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt in medium bowl. In second bowl mix cherries, oats, pecans and chocolate chips. In mixing bowl bowl beat butter and sugar at medium speed about 1 min. Scrape sides of bowl and add egg and vanilla. Beat about 30 sec. With mixer still running on low gradually add flour mixture beat 30 sec. With mixer running on low gradually add oat/nut mixture just until incorporated. Roll dough into 1 1/2" balls. Slightly flatten with hands on sheet to 1" thickness. Bake about 12 minutes - do not overbake.. Cool on sheet.
