Hello I am new here. Thought I would post a few things that I am currently baking. I love to bake and it's my passion in life. :)

Here are some red velvet cupcakes I just made. Yum. They are my favorite!

And while these are not currently in my oven I made these a month ago for a wedding I did. Rootbeet float cupcakes! How fun!

I also recently started a blog. www.goldengirlbakery.blogspot.com Do you all have baking blogs? I would love to follow.

Thanks for the kind words! I can guarantee they taste good. Where are you located? I am currently married and a stay at home mom to a beautiful almost 9 month old girl. I love to shop (what girl doesn't ;) try new wines, craft and go running. I currently live in Maryland about 30 minutes outside Washington DC

Hi CHRISTINA G....I live insouthern NewHampshireire, too far to drop by for a taste.Iam going to be 68yo on Tuesday Nov 15th.My husband I have been married for 49 years( this past May 27th)We raised 2 sons together.One is a software engineer & the other is retired Navy.My Dad was a professional baker & I 'm pretty sure I inherited somof his genes
I taught Home Economics( cooking ) before a drunk driver ended my career & nearly my life.I am confined to a whelchair but still manage to function prtty well( w/ alot of extra effort.
I bake brownies, pineapple upside down cake, mudpies Chinese almond cookies;
pretty much whatever we want by planning ahead well & doing whatever it takes.With only one funcdtioning hand, I can no longer suff canolis or decorate cakes like I once dd ; but can still appreciate the efforts made by others.I've been onVBB for over 3 years(lost count)

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the nice words. I would love to own my own baking business one day! For now I have a blog, FB page, twitter and website to hopefully get the word out there! If you all have facebook go like my group https://www.facebook.com/GoldenGirlBakery :) I think I am going to do another giveaway soon and send out some free cookies if i can reach 300 followers. It's a work in progress but I love baking and I can't wait to see what you all bake and hopefully we can share recipes!
