I had a small plastic container that I stored my mini chocolate chips in and shook them out as I needed them for pancakes, recipes, etc. My daughter moved into an apartment in college and took my shake

I had a small plastic container that I stored my mini chocolate chips in and shook them out as I needed them for pancakes, recipes, etc. My daughter moved into an apartment in college and took my shaker with her. Now, it has become a victim of college roommates and isn't in good condition. :(  Do they make these containers anymore? It was so convenient!
Thank you!

I repurposed a parmesan cheese shaker for this very same use. Give it a try - as long as you stick with the mini chips, you'll be good. Hope this helps!

I would go to a restaurant supply store or Sam's Club or GFS and get one of the shakers that pizza places use for the red pepper flakes.  I think the holes would be large enough.  If they are a bit small it would be pretty easy to make them a bit larger just by pressing in a large screwdriver or if you have a handy person around a drill bit.
Or possibly one of the sugar dispensers that has the flap that covers the opening, that opening is a bit larger.

I have used the shakers for pizza red peppers - they work great for the mini chips!
