I LOVE Olive Garden....not only is the soup "super", the endless salad & rolls are to die for!!  Unfortunately, the two restuarants in Toledo are miles from us.  Fortunately, they are in the area where two of my Doctors are!!  Needless to say, we make my appointments close to either lunch time, or dinner time!!  My son, who lives in Cincinnati, goes to Sam's before he makes a trip here.....they have Olive Garden's Salad Dressing.  It tastes as good as it does in the restuarant.  Two bottles went in a hurry around here!!

Well Nellie, I learn something new every day! Sounds like a good place to go. Yes, I live in a small town. Smile

darla,
you can buy the salad dressing bottled at the restaurant as well

also it's a very cheap way to eat well as long as you stick to the soup, salad and breadsticks
but, i quit having iced tea or cokes w/ meals almost 10 yrs ago for my tummy's sake and i only have a minimal amt of water as well

Nellie, if I may ask, why the minimal water to drink? All the talk of people being dehydrated by doctors today! I, as stupid as it sounds, get dehydrated often. I drink like crazy!

Olive Garden was my choice for my Birthday lunch.  Soup, salad and bread sticks....can't beat it.
The salad dressing is what i use for my Pasta Salad.  It has enough taste and it is thick enough so that it coats everything I put in the salad.  And it does not taste oily or separate that easily.  I also use it on my salami sandwich when I splurge on "my" salami.

The Olive Garden is very big in our area. My friend, Denise, and I love to go for soup and salad. The soups are delicious. My favorite is the Tuscan soup, but the chicken gnocchi is a close second. If you have an Olive Garden in your area, try it at least once.

I don't like to travel far to go out to eat. I like to eat locally. I'd like to eat at Olive Garden, but it's over 15 miles away and I don't know of anything to do in that area. Maybe sometime I can go there to eat.

my favorite is the toscana      only one i eat

jean,
if that olive garden is any thing like the ones i experience here,  it's worth the trip
i don't really like their other food that well and it can get pricey       but the service is next to none in my experience        the ambience is also good     and if you like you can order a different soup for your second bowl  and if you don't like the one you ordered, you just try another        and on a ticket of 15.05  (for 2)     i always leave a 5.00 tip

vicki,
my sister, who had huntington disease , that causes choking problems  was sent to have swallowing tests
and that dr. told us that the liquid consumed during a meal can cause the problem to be worse
and since i have severe reflux disease    that it would help me also to cut down
but, i have always been a water drinker about a gallon a day         just not during meals, mostly

My youngest son has requested to go to Olive Garden this week for his upcoming birthday.  My husband and I usually split one of the entrees because I have such a difficult time refusing pasta.  The soup, salad and breadsticks are so tasty,  but I "need" some pasta.  Ha!  I suggest to those who haven't tried eating there yet to give it a try - it's worth the drive.
