In Response to Re: NEED HELP WITH CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES: Yes, I am using the one on the back of the chips. I always use real stick butter in my cooking, maybe I should use stick margarine for these cookies.
What recipe are you using? The one on the back of the bag of Nestles Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips? That's the best one. What type of fat are you using? Butter? Margarine? Shortening? Do not use the margarine that comes in the tubs, that has too much water in it. Read the Forum about reducing fat and you'll find many Posts about using butter and margarine in your baking. Basically, follow the recipe and use what that says to use. By the way, my father could always tell who made the chocolate chip cookies, my mother or me. Something about the way I packed the brown sugar and put my foot in there and stomped on it; not really, but I guess I packed it harder than my mother did.
