In a grocery store today I saw a 7 x 11 baking pan ... my very first.  But I couldn't bring myself to buy it.  I've never needed one before - I hope I don't again

Nancy, if you go back and get the large pan I have a GREAT brownie recipe that will go perfectly in that pan!!
Well worth getting the pan.

OK Nikki - it's a Wilton pan so it's not cheap. but I'll buy it on my next trip over there.  I want that recipe!!

You will need lots of butter and lots of chocolate. You will also need walnuts, I am not usually fond of walnuts but they do well in this recipe.  I guess you could use pecans but the bitterness I usually find in walnuts is not noticeable in this brownie recipe.
I will post the recipe under Chocoholics.  Look for "Outrageous Brownies".
